Your Use of this Site
You may only use the Website for lawful purposes when using the Jobooster service to advertise your vacancy to recruit staff – or when applying for a job. You must not under any circumstances seek to undermine the security of the Website or any information submitted to or available through it. In particular, but without limitation, you must not seek to access, alter or delete any information to which you do not have authorised access, seek to overload the system via spamming or flooding, take any action or use any device, routine or software to crash, delay, damage or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Website or attempt to decipher, disassemble or modify any of the software, coding or information comprised in the Website.

You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to the Website. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to the Website. You must notify us immediately if anyone makes or threatens to make any claim against you relating to your use of the Website.

Jobooster publishes your vacancy onto carefully selected job boards and other appropiate platforms including Social Media. The purpose of our service is to increase the coverage of your vacancy. Numerous factors outside of our control can affect the volume and suitability of applicants. We cannot accept liability for the performance of your advert including the number of applicants you will receive, suitability of applicants, nor any guarantee that you will fill your vacancy. From time to time we review all premium and other free platforms that Jobooster uses as part of the service. We reserve the right to add, remove or change any platform we use at any time and without prior notice.

External links
The Website may contain links to and from the websites of third parties i.e. information relating to jobs, careers, news, videos, web tools etc.  If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal information to these websites. Jobooster cannot accept any responsibility for or liability in respect of the content of external sites. Using automatic links to gain access to such sites is entirely at your own risk.

Advert content
After submission we will import your vacancy onto our professional branded Job Board template. During this process we will need to edit your advert and remove your company name. This is to ensure that your published vacancy is aligned with our advert structure, to achieve consistency across our service and to maintain compliance with advertising platforms.

Property
All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners. All company, product and service names used in this website are for identification purposes only.


2. PRIVACY
This privacy policy sets out and details the information that we may collect from you and how we may use this information through our website https://jobooster.co.uk and our integrated ‘Shortlist Manager’ Career Site https://www.web-cruit.com.

Our Career Site Service is provided and maintained by Kaonix Solutions Limited through its ‘Webcruit’ service on behalf of Jobooster.

Jobooster are the Data Controller of any personal data processed by the Service as described in this privacy policy. Kaonix provide the Service and protect the personal data acting in their role as the Data Processor.

Collection of information
When you access our Website via any means we may collect, store and use your personal information in line with this policy.

To create an account on the Website, we will ask for:

  • Full Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Company name
  • We may also ask you for additional information when you report a problem with the Service or make a complaint
  • We will ask you to create a Username and Password

To post a job, we will ask for:

  • Recruiting Manager’s name, email address and telephone number
  • Additional contact’s email address
  • Details about the vacancy you are advertising

Payment processing
Payment must be made in full before a vacancy is published. Without payment, Jobooster reserve the right to delay, suspend or cancel a vacancy and restrict user access to the Website, Shortlist Manager and applications. 

Use of your information
By accessing the Website via any means, you agree that your personal information may be collected, stored, used and shared by us for any of the following purposes:

  • So we can manage and administer your account
  • To communicate with you as part of our service. For example, we will email you shortlist notifications, payment receipts etc.
  • So we can send you any other communications if you have given us permission to do so. For example, when you create your account we will ask you if you wish to receive occasional emails about our services, offers, industry news and insights.
  • To resolve complaints, and handle requests for data access or correction
  • To respond to and defend against legal claims
  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Collection of information when applying for a job
When you access our Website via any means we may collect, store and use your personal information in line with this policy.

To register or apply for a job on the Website, we will ask for:

  • Work experience
  • Qualifications

  • Your availability for work
  • Key words describing you

3rd Party Job Boards and Platforms
Jobooster uses a wide range of Job Boards and other related platforms to advertise vacancies on behalf of employers.

Whilst we maintain our own Privacy Policy to inform you how we use your personal information we would encourage you to also check the policies of the Job Board(s) and/or platform(s) that originally brought you to our Website.

Who is your personal data shared with
Personal data will only be shared between employees of Jobooster who legitimately need the information to carry out their normal duties i.e. members of the recruitment team, administrators, managers of the service/business areas in which they work and IT staff, if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

We endeavour to ensure that personal data is only shared with your consent. However, circumstances may arise where data maybe shared without gaining your consent. This will only occur if it is necessary to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another person; or for certain other reasons where it is not possible or appropriate to gain your consent such as disclosures to the police for prevention or detection of crime, or to meet statutory obligations relating to equality monitoring. 

Data security
Jobooster takes the security of your data seriously. Jobooster has internal policies and controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of their duties.

When you register, we will ask you to choose a password which enables you to access your account. You are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share this password with anyone.

Whilst we and our Career Site provider use the best efforts to ensure the security of your data, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the Internet.

Legal basis for processing your information
Jobooster collects and processes your Personal Data on the basis of different legal grounds, depending on the nature of the Personal Data being provided and the type of processing involved. More information is provided on this here.

Performance of a Contract
Most of the Personal Data processed by Jobooster is performed on the basis that it is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you, or in order to take steps at the request of the user prior to entering such an agreement. An example of this would be where Jobooster provides a customer with access to job applicants.

Legitimate Interest
Another ground relied upon by Jobooster for other types of processing of your Personal Data is that it is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by jobooster. Such legitimate interests will include where we believe you have a reasonable expectation that we will perform a particular type of processing on your behalf. We will only rely on such a ground where there is a necessity of the processing in order to provide our services, products and features to you.

Legal Obligation
Another ground relied upon for certain types of processing is that it is necessary in order to allow Jobooster to comply with a legal obligation.

Consent
Jobooster also relies on your consent in order to process your Personal Data. Where we require your consent in order to collect and process certain Personal Data, we seek your consent at the time of provision, and such processing will only be performed where consent is secured.

Change of purpose
We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal information for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

Data retention
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with the Service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information i.e. due to the closure of your account, your data will be deleted.

Closing your account
We only retain your personal data for twelve months from the date your last vacancy expired or from the date you created your account (if you’ve never posted a job).

You can also close your account at any other time by emailing dataprotection@jobooster.co.uk from the email address associated with your account.

Closing your account deletes all the personal information held in your profile.

Closing your account – Job Applicants
We only retain your personal data for twelve months from your last successful login. If your account has not been accessed for twelve months since the last successful login, we will contact you via the registered email address and explain that if you do not successfully login again within the next 7 days, we will automatically close your account.

You can also close your account at any other time by emailing dataprotection@jobooster.co.uk from the email address associated with your account.

Closing your account deletes all the personal information held in your profile including your application history.

Email Alerts
If you have subscribed to emails from us about our services, relevant industry news and insights you can unsubscribe at any time by updating your preferences using the option within the email.

Reviewing & keeping your information up to date 
It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. You can update your information at https://jobooster.co.uk/account

The Website may contain links to and from the websites of third parties i.e. information relating to jobs, careers, news, videos, web tools etc.  If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies. Social media, blogs, reviews
Any social media posts or comments you send to us i.e. on the Jobooster Twitter page or any other platform, will be shared under the terms of the relevant social media platform (e.g. Facebook / Twitter) on which they are written and could be made public.

Other people, not us, control these platforms. We are not responsible for this kind of sharing. We recommend you should review the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the social media platforms you use. That way, you will understand how they will use your information, what information relating to you they will place in the public domain, and how you can stop them from doing so if you are unhappy about it.

Any blog, review or other posts or comments you make about us, our products and services on any of our blogs, reviews or user community services will be shared with all other members of that service and the public at large. Any comments you make on these services and on social media in general must be not offensive, insulting or defamatory. You are responsible for ensuring that any comments you make comply with any relevant policy on acceptable use of those services.

Transfer of personal data outside of the UK

Jobooster limits its processing of personal data to users that are of a legal working age.
